Anime Psycho-pass has not only SF story but also philological plot. Sometimes Makishima quotes
phrase from books in his line. He is clever and show his attractive point to us through these scenes.
He often has books in his hand, and loving reading, and has amount of knowledge in any field.
Maybe he has many interest in this world and wondering why people stop thinking more deeply and depend on determination to act by Sybil system.
Sybil system is of course useful, but it make us like a robot.
People stop thinking by themselves, depend on daily life in any scene, and never have doubt to this strange system.

It's so good line from PP episode 14. At first, I didn't like Shogo because he often quate some line from books, and it made me felt not so good. Because I felt he hadn't his reberal will or certification about doing buttle with opposite side.
But when I've watched episode 14, I was charmed...by him!! He is not a inteligent person but a great person who has unique opinion about anachronic things. So, I'm a fan of him now*___*
